Happy Spring!
We’re happy to be welcoming leaves on the trees, flowers in our gardens, and baby animals. Our preschoolers will be planting seeds, hatching chicks, and watching the life cycle of ladybugs and butterflies.
Here are a few books we’ll be reading in class, which you might enjoy reading at home, too.
- Easter at Our House by P.K. Hallinan
- The Easter Egg by Jan Brett
- Hopper Hunts for Spring by Marcus Pfister
- It’s Raining, It’s Pouring by Kin Eagle
- My Garden by Kevin Henkes
- My Spring Robin by Anne Rockwell
- Planting a Rainbow by Lois Ehlert
- The Runaway Bunny by Margaret Wise Brown
- Splish, Splash, Spring by Jan Carr
- The Story of the Easter Bunny by Katherine Tegen
- The Sunflower Parable by Liz Curtis Higgins
- Thank You, God, for Spring by Jane Belk Moncure
- There was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Chick! By Lucille Colandro
- What Will Hatch? By Jennifer Ward
Enjoy reading!
