The Fruit of the Spirit is GOODNESS
“And let us not grow weary of doing good,
for in due season we will reap,
if we do not give up.”
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
– Ephesians 2:10
God has created us to do GOOD! When we do good deeds, we become more like Jesus and learn to be loving and caring to all people.
Here are some scenarios you can discuss with your child:
- A friend from school is crying because s/he missed Mommy. What can you do?
- Someone dropped their snack on the floor. How can you help them?
Here’s an easy idea that you can do with your child:
- Whenever you go food shopping with your child, let them pick-out one non-perishable food item and donate it to the Food Bank. (NBRC has a food bin in Fellowship Hall!)
